How to Benefit from Penny Auction Sites

Read Other Live Content News and Tips
Online penny auction site is useful for those people who have knowledge about the market value of certain products. However, even the inexperienced persons can opt for this site. Products won on penny auctions are typically brand new.

While each bid only raises the price by a penny, bidders generally pay somewhere between 50 cents and a dollar to make each bid, and each bid extends the time of the auction. So while the final price of an item worth $100 may be around $6, that final price represents hundreds of bids made at $.50 or more a piece.

When the clock expires, the highest bidder wins the auction. Savings often amount to more than 90% off the retail price.

Life, Love, Joy

Read Other Live Content News and Tips.
Feel life, Live life & Love life, there is too much negativity, hate, war and untruth in our society today and we all need a wake up call. We need to start becoming aware of what's going on around us everyday in our society. We need to start asking the right questions and taking the lead in our lives and not just be blindly pushed around and dictated to or allow ourselves to be conditioned by the media, governments, religious institutions and corporates anymore.

Humanity is at the brink of it's own self destruction and our beautiful mother earth is at the tipping point of collapse and crying out for help. Things need to change and they need to change fast and the only way for that to happen is for humanity to have a paradigm shift in it's thinking, for people to start waking up and becoming conscious and aware and seeing what is around them and start correcting the imbalance in the world.

Their parents cannot afford to feed them regularly and cannot provide proper clothing, education, or health care.

Unfortunately, many people believe that those who live in poverty are just stupid or lazy. Even if it was true for their parents, which it is not, it is absolutely not true about the children. The children are the innocent victims of circumstances beyond the control of their families.

There are many reasons for poverty. With the current economic recession, it is easier to see first-hand how people are driven below the poverty line.

Spring 2011: Designer Fashion Accessories For Women

Read Other Live Content News and Tips
The new spring fashions have already hit the runways, and we're seeing a lot of great designer fashion accessories and clothes you can add to your closet.

Cat-eye glasses and sunglasses: Cat-eye glasses hit the scene back in the '50s (Audrey Hepburn wore them in Breakfast at Tiffany's), and kept their popularity throughout the '60s. From that point on they were mostly reserved for those paying homage to those earlier decades' style, but now they're officially back in vogue. (Giles Deacon and Paul Smith both featured them in their recent lines.) Grab a pair of regular glasses, shades, or both.

Wide-leg Trousers: This is probably one of the most comfortable upcoming trends of 2011, featured by Marc Jacobs and Tommy Hilfiger, among others. Paired with the right top and shoes (heels always look great with them), wide-leg trousers — especially high-waisted ones — can make anyone look fabulous.

Obama Tucson Speech; Powerful Words from a Friend

Read Other Live Content News and Tips
In political news, the Wednesday Obama Tucson speech was powerful, down to earth and also political, as he touted his vision of presidential leadership with a call to “make sense out of that which seems senseless” by elevating political agenda.

President Barack Obama gave a moving tribute to those shot, wounded and killed at the tragic shooting in Tucson. His powerful and thoughtful speech brought tears to many and inspired others. He addressed the issues of the aftermath, not just of the blood and the bodies but the aftermath of the mind and morale. He said:

Your Goals Affect Your Relationships

Read Other Live Content News and Tips
How you think about your goals - whether it's to improve yourself or to do better than others - can affect whether you reach those goals. Different kinds of goals can also have distinct effects on your relationships with people around you, according to the authors of a paper published in Current Directions in Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science.

People with "mastery goals" want to improve themselves. Maybe they want to get better grades, make more sales, or land that triple toe loop. On the other hand, people with what psychologists call "performance goals" are trying to outperform others - to get a better grade than a friend or be Employee of the Year. Both kinds of goals can be useful in different contexts. But P. Marijn Poortvliet, of Tilburg University in the Netherlands, and Céline Darnon, of France's Clermont University, are interested in the social context of these goals - what they do to your relationships.

Intel & Nvidia Patent Agreement, After 24 Months Legal Dispute

Read Other Live Content News and Tips
Intel and Nvidia announced Monday that the two companies have entered into a new cross-licensing agreement. This agreement effectively ends the legal battle the two chipmakers have been engaged in since 2009.

The world's biggest micro-chip maker Intel has agreed to pay its smaller rival Nvidia $1.5 billion in a six-year, to use its technology. Likewise, Nvidia will get to license some of Intel’s patents. Intel is the dominant market player supplying micro-processors for 80% of the world's personal computers.

The original legal dispute between Nvidia and Intel centered on Nvidia’s ability to create Intel-compatible chipsets for Intel’s Nehalem and Core series CPUs. Nvidia claimed that its 2004 licensing agreement with Intel permitted it to create Nehalem and other Core successor chipsets (much as it had successfully developed chipsets for the Core 2 Duo microprocessors). Intel disagreed and sued Nvidia in February 2009. Nvidia then counter-sued.

Verizone Sells iPhone

Read Other Live Content News and Tips.
All indications point to an iPhone being announced today by Verizon Wireless and I can’t wait so we can move on to the next multi-year smartphone rumor.

Verizon Wireless's expected announcement Tuesday that it will begin selling the iPhone later this month should prove a boon for mobile ad networks and marketers. With Apple likely to sell an estimated 9 to 12 million iPhones on Verizon's network this year, that will only further expand the mobile audience on one of the top smartphone platforms.

It doesn’t matter that this iPhone will have no LTE, may or may not be white, can’t make calls while checking email or surfing, or have very high data costs because Verizon will still sell millions of them.
